On my Salt Lake City breakfast tour I’m focusing mostly on newer spots, but there are a few places I’ve visited before that still feel fresh to the valley and deserve mention. One of those staples is Beaumont. I picked up a breakfast burrito there recently and knew it had to be on this list.

I appreciate Beaumont for a few key reasons, but the top two are convenience and freshness. If you spend time recreating in the Wasatch Front—hiking, skiing, or biking—Beaumont is one of the best places to fuel up before heading out. I often grab a breakfast burrito on the way up the canyon before a big ski day. The drive-through makes it quick and accessible without sacrificing quality. I enjoy grab-and-go burritos from other Mexican spots too, but those can feel heavy and greasy, which doesn’t sit well when you’re about to be active.

Beaumont’s breakfast burrito features fresh eggs, bacon, avocado, roasted corn, and bell peppers. What elevates it is the sauce—the creamy tomatillo esc dressing adds bright, tangy richness that ties the filling together. A good breakfast burrito often comes down to the sauce, and this one delivers.

Tucked between 3900 and 4500 South on Wasatch Boulevard, Beaumont offers more than just a great burrito. They serve quality coffee, fresh pastries, and standout dishes like a creamy burrata salad. It’s a reliable neighborhood spot with a welcoming patio and thoughtfully designed interior that make it a pleasant place to linger.
A quick note: good food draws crowds, and Beaumont is no exception. On weekends you can expect a steady line and people gathered outside. If you only want coffee and pastries, don’t be deterred—the counter and drive-through move efficiently. If you plan to sit down, especially on a weekend morning, build in extra time for a wait. Even with the occasional crowd, the food, atmosphere, and convenience make Beaumont worth it.
