Ingredients

This buffalo chicken wrap uses straightforward ingredients you likely have on hand and assembles quickly.

  • Chicken tenderloins – tendon removed
  • Panko breadcrumbs – for extra crunch
  • Buffalo sauce – choose your preferred spice level (medium recommended)
  • Cheese – Cheddar Jack or Pepper Jack
  • Tortillas – whole wheat or your choice
  • Lettuce – shredded iceberg or romaine

How to Make Buffalo Chicken Wraps

These wraps come together in a few simple steps:

1. In a large bowl, place the chicken tenders and season with garlic powder, chili powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, black pepper and salt. Add the buffalo sauce and toss to coat. Set aside.

2. Set up a breading station with two shallow bowls: one with the egg and egg whites beaten together, the other with panko breadcrumbs seasoned with dried parsley.

3. Dip each buffalo-coated tender first into the egg mixture, then into the panko, pressing the crumbs to adhere. Repeat until all tenders are breaded and arrange them on a plate.

4. Place the breaded tenders on the air fryer tray and lightly spray with cooking spray or brush with a little olive oil. Cook at 400°F (204°C) for about 12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and cooked through.

5. Remove the cooked chicken and let it rest briefly on a wire rack or tray before slicing for the wraps.
