Strawberry, banana, and chocolate come together in this delightful Banana Split Popcorn, a fun twist on chocolate-covered popcorn. It’s an easy, no-bake snack mix that’s perfect for movie nights, game nights, or summer gatherings.

With summer here, banana split flavors are on repeat. Instead of scoops of ice cream every day, this popcorn lets you enjoy those classic flavors—banana, strawberry, and chocolate—in a lighter, crunchy form. It’s quick to prepare and uses common pantry ingredients, so you can whip it up in about 15 minutes.

This recipe is one of several easy no-bake banana split treats that capture those flavors without heating up the kitchen. The popcorn is a sweet-and-salty snack mix that works well for sharing, gifting, or keeping on hand for late-night munching.

I prefer white and chocolate candy melts for the best texture and flavor, but chocolate chips or almond bark work fine if that’s what you have. The recipe is forgiving and quick, and the layered flavors are what make it memorable.
How to make Banana Split Popcorn:
- Divide the popped popcorn and miniature marshmallows evenly into three bowls. (Full ingredient list is below.)
- Melt white candy melts and mix in the dry banana pudding mix until combined.
- Pour the banana-flavored white chocolate over one bowl of popcorn, stir until coated, then spread on wax paper to set.
- Melt more white candy melts and stir in the dry strawberry gelatin. Pour over a second bowl of popcorn, mix to coat, and spread to set.
- Melt the chocolate candy melts, pour over the last bowl of popcorn, stir to coat, and spread to set.
- When all three batches are set, break into chunks and combine them in a large bowl.

Recipe Tips:
- The dry pudding and Jello mixes won’t fully dissolve in the melted chocolate, so the coating may feel slightly grainy while warm. Once it sets on the popcorn, the texture is barely noticeable.
- If you want a more banana-like color, add a tiny amount of yellow gel food coloring to the banana-flavored white chocolate. Use only gel coloring—liquid color can cause chocolate to seize.
- Store the popcorn in a tightly sealed container or resealable bag. It’s best the day it’s made, since the coating softens over time.
This Banana Split Popcorn is great for sharing, gifting, or snacking at any hour—especially during late-night projects or movie marathons.
