Showstopping Cakes with Minimal Tools
You don’t need a long list of specialty tools. Aside from vegan white chocolate, a few basic cookie cutters, luster dust and a small paintbrush, the main piece of equipment is a silicone hemisphere mold to bake the cakes into spheres. A parchment paper cone is helpful for piping and finishing details.
Notes for Success
If you follow the older video tutorial, note that the cream cheese icing shown has since been improved. Use the updated, no-refrigeration version of the cream cheese-style icing for easier handling and a more stable finish.
